CIP announcing partnership with Asia Cement for 450 MW Chufeng offshore wind project
CIP partnering with Asia Cement – COP to leading technical role
Today Asia Cement Corporation (ACC) and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) announced its partnership on the Chufeng offshore wind power project aiming for developing Zone 4 off the coast Hsinchu City. The project will strive for grid access and COD in 2020, dedicating itself to promoting localization of the offshore wind industry. COP will take a leading technical role throughout the project implementation.
The total capacity of the Chufeng wind power project is expected to reach 450MW, which will provide enough electricity for about 450,000 households; annual greenhouse gas reductions will be 760,000 tons. The general manager of ACC and representative of Chufeng, Li Kun-yan, and Jesper Krarup Holst, CEO of CI Wind Power Development Taiwan Co. Ltd and Vice President in COP, jointly announced this important cooperation plan at the Shangri-La’s Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, Taipei today on 19th March.
